I was unable to log in and contacted technical support who helped sort it out. As a suggestion, why cant IP Vanish send a blanket email to all users to advise that a change like ‘full email address is needed for the app’.
This should be easy and save them getting heaps of tech support queries. Happy with IP Vanish but will shop around before next renewal as price is quite high for Australian users.

I am about to come to an end with my 3rd year of having IPVanish as my VPN. I contacted support and was given a lower price to stay with them for another year. The service is great and have had no problems except my IPVanish modem stopped working. So now I just use the app and all is well.

Virtually Private Network

IPVanish have been using IPVanish the last 3years primarily on Linux, put occasionally on PC and Android. The fact it is available cross platform is essential and it has an extensive spread of VPN servers.

Upgrading from Ubuntu 20.10 broke my VPN connections and surfing the net was useless. However after contact customer support I had a FIX within a week which explicity told me the issue and the workaround.

The mark of a really good organisation is the level of support after they have your money and IPVanish were prompt, professional and knowledgeable; highly recommended.

I have had IPVanish for 3 years

I have had IPVanish for 3 years now and love the service. I have had a couple minor problems over the years, and each was solved with the online chat service. Wireguard is the fastest VPN protocol to use. Thank you for that! I have had no problem negotiating a better renewal price yearly. I do wish the loyal customers would get a better rate. There are many VPN services out there for cheaper prices, but I’ll stay with IPVanish because it works. First time, every time! Thank you for a great product!

Make sure you cancel your subscription.

I signed up to this service thinking that it was a good deal, however after the second year I decided that I did not want to renew as i was not using it.
I recieved an email from paypel saying the it had auto renewed, so messaged them immediately, however they informed me that once it had renews they would not refund my money. This feels really underhand and not the way legitimate company’s operate. I feel scammed!

Spend your money with a different service

This is by far one of the worse customer service experiences I have ever had. First the service stopped letting me sign in, so I stopped using it. I was unable to sign into my account and cancel prior to the renewal date (I reset my password so many times I got an error telling me I did it to many times and to try again later) so they charged my card $95 dollars. After contacting and wasting over an hour the problem WAS NOT FIXED. They even reset the password and I copy and pasted and still couldn’t get in. Their answer was just reboot the computer and try again later. The customer service reps I dealt with made me feel like I was a liar and stupid( Myco and Irish). If you are thinking of using this VPN service, DON’T. I will be contacting my bank over the fraudulent charge and then filing a complaint with the BBB. STAY AWAY.

Watch what they charge on renewal

Had I not gotten charged a charge I didn’t get agree to and had to get in touch with customer service but when I spoke with Albert he absolutely made it right. I hate that when it comes to renewal time return customers like myself has to call, waste, beg for a better rate, it’s just not right. Others want my business, why don’t I give it to them?

Renewal Process

I have had IP Vanish for three years now and have not had any problems that couldn’t be solved with an email or phone call. I still operate a laptop using Windows 7. They provided me a VPN version to accommodate my Operating System (OS) even though they are using upgraded versions for current Operating Systems. They always modify my annual cost to a lower amount. But I do have to contact Customer Service around renewal time to negotiate a change in price. If anything, I would like to suggest to your business, for the subscribers that have a long standing order with your services, when a person is coming up for annual renewal, IP Vanish should reward and advertise exclusively to those customers, beforehand, a reduced renewal rate to inspire repeat/recurring service. Instead of having the customer contact and haggle a reduced rate. There are so many VPN services always advertising great deals to steal business away from you. Customers like to have attention. It makes us feel wanted, even though we already know this. Validation if you will. When a customer is handed a reduced renewal service plan prior expiration, it makes the process and decision easy. Easy is good. Reward loyalty and excite your customers. Thank you. Dale

IPVanish provides really easy to use software that downloads across different mobile devices. Also their customer service support is AWESOME! Questions get answered and any system glitches are resolved during 1 point of contact. Their pricing is also reasonable and you truly get more bang for your buck! First time user of VPN and very satisfied.
