PIA to decommission forums. How long before they flush this reddit too

PIA black friday deal is on. I have been using PIA for past 3 years and service is pretty good in terms of speed. Doesnt really work for Netflix though. PIA isn’t always this low like Nord so get it if you prefer PIA .

Looking to subscribe to a VPN service – is PIA any better than it used to be? Any other to choose?

Given their current price promotion of around $2/month, has PIA improved?I ask because a few years again they weren’t offering different Netflix regions, I found servers used to go down, is it any better today or should I be considering any other vendor?I just want it for torrenting to be honest.

PIA VPN Toronto Server Slow Speeds?

I have been getting very slow speeds from the Toronto server for some time now. I click the “complain about slow speeds” whenever I do a speed test now but don’t usually use it now because it’s so slow. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

People who use PIA please test something for me

I have been trying to connect to Kijiji while on the Toronto server and have had no luck. It’s almost as if Kijiji as blocked the Toronto IP address or group of Toronto ip addresses. I also get hit and miss with connecting to RFD. I have no problem connecting to these sites on the Montreal server wh.

PIA to decommission forums. How long before they flush this reddit too?

PIA has announced that they will decommission their forums https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/34166/forum-decommissioning-22nd-june-2018#latest on June 22. This is being spun as a means of improving customer support. Right. Of course we were told the same thing when they decommissioned online chat support too.

Some customers are already complaining about it. https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/forum/discussion/34167/decommissioning-of-forums#latest How is it that every time PIA takes something away from us it’s supposed to make things better, but of course it never does?

A logical deconstruction of PIAJason’s announcement leads one to the inevitable conclusion that this subreddit’s days are also numbered. So I’d strongly recommend that any personally important information here, and on PIA’s forums, be archived elsewhere for safekeeping.
